I have to admit, due to laziness my skincare regimen up until now has consisted of makeup wipes and moisturizer! I really should have stared this along time ago but since I’m now in my 30’s I’d say its time to start taking skincare more seriously. I recently spent the afternoon at the Dermalogica headquarters in Toronto where I received the most relaxing facial of my life and a full face mapping. What I learned about my skin was that I have dehydrated skin, I used to the drinking water cured this but using the right products goes a long way as well. I highly suggest getting this face mapping consultation for anyone who needs a little help choosing the right products for their skin type. My lovely aesthetician Praneeta suggested the following products to help battle the dehydration and prevent sun damage to my skin;
Hydrablur Primer – I’ve been mixing this with my foundation and it keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day, it also helps with minimizing the appearance of fine lines and helping with oil control which is great for these hot summer months.
Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50– Spf is so important in a moisturizer and something that a lot of people bypass. After my face mapping appointment I realized just how much sun damage I already have and how important it is to wear SPF everyday …even in the winter. This moisturizer also contains Contains ingredients to enhance the skin’s natural ability to fight skin-aging free radicals.
Daily Superfoliant– I use this in the shower every morning and it barely feels like its doing anything but the results are there and my skin feels instantly smoother and brighter.
Stress Positive Eye Lift – I’ve been using this daily to try and brighten my eye area, the cooling massage applicator feels so refreshing and instantly wakes up my eye area.
